  1. I am happily coming from south-western Germany, while my parents – esp. my father – have british ancestors. Thus I believe to be western European with a little bit Anglo-American influence. Your ideas about the German way seem to be extremely pessimistic to me; I’d strongly believe, American politicians could learn very much from how Germany is handling its problems so far.
